A pregnant woman is a symbol
of spring of love, kindness and a new life. The Sri Lankans respect pregnant
women in every turn.
If a pregnant woman in a bus
or train is seen standing for want of a seat, from the able to the feeble,
young to the old will not hesitate to offer his/her seat. That's how a
civilized world treat a pregnant woman.
But, LTTE used a pregnant
woman, this sacrosanct symbol, to kill the Army Chief Sarath Fonseka, which
ended up with wounding him and many others and killing eight others. What a
horrendous crime to use this sacred symbol itself to gain the blood-thirsty
ends of the brutal LTTE.
This is a cut and clear
manifestation of their callous regard to human lives. This horrendous crime is
worsened if the woman suicide bomber was actually pregnant.
If she was actually pregnant,
imagine the indoctrination inculcated into this woman's fragile mind to kill
herself with an unborn child to kill another human being. In an earlier

This is the true face of the
LTTE and the International Community who mollycoddles the LTTE should take
cognizance of these bare truths.
LTTE has to their credit many
"FIRSTS" among which some of the following "FIRSTS" are now
copied to the letter by other terrorist outfits including Al Quaeda, Hamas and
Jihad.
* LTTE is the First to start
bombing public places (Pettah Bus Stand, Dehiwela Train, Central Bank Building,
Kolonnawa Oil Tank, Galadari Hotel, World Trade Centre - a few among the many)
* LTTE is the First to
assassinate a Prime Minister of another country (Rajiv Gandhi of
* LTTE is the First to kill
the country's President (Mr. R. Premadasa) and maimed another President (Mrs.
Chandrika Bandaranaike)
* LTTE is the First to kill
their own Tamil Political leaders despite calling them as "Sole Authority
of the Tamils"
* LTTE is the First to design
the "Suicide Kit" which is now often used by Al Quaeda, Jihad, Hamas
and other terrorists outfits in the world.
* LTTE is the First to
massacre worshippers while praying (Massacre at Sri Maha Bodhiya and Muslim
Mosque in Batticaloa)
* LTTE is the First to bomb a
world heritage sacred place (Dalada Maligawa) which was copied by the Taliban
and bulldozed a world heritage site of Brahmin Buddha in
* And the latest, LTTE is the
First to use a pregnant woman (either dressed to camouflage or actually
pregnant) as a suicide bomber to kill other human beings denigrating the symbol
of love, kindness and new life.
It is beyond comprehension
and pathetic that despite all these evil and brutal atrocities and introducing
innovative killing machines to the terrorist world, there are still some
countries who mollycoddle them.
